GETCGO // PROTOCOL_PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. Overview & Scope

This policy explains how GETCGO ("we", "us", "our") handles information submitted through getcgo.com, including the growth diagnosis and project brief form.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the information needed to review and respond to a potential engagement:

  • Project briefs: Your name, work email, company, website, selected service and budget ranges, and the context you enter about the business.
  • Diagnosis data: Diagnosis answers are calculated in your browser. They are not sent to us unless you choose to attach the result and then submit the project brief.
  • Basic technical data: Our hosting and delivery providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and security logs to operate and protect the service.

3. Service Providers & Hosting

We use a limited number of providers to operate the website:

  • Hosting: The infrastructure provider used for the deployed website processes standard server requests and operational logs.
  • Email delivery: Brevo processes submitted project briefs so they can be delivered to GETCGO.
  • Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the project brief form is being submitted by a person rather than a script. It processes your IP address and signals from your browser for that check alone, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
  • Fonts: Typography is served from this website itself. No third party receives a request when the site loads its fonts.

4. Cookies, Analytics & Local Storage

We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools on this website, including Google Analytics. These set cookies and collect standard usage data: which pages are viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use it to learn which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck.

We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are actually used: clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and the order of the pages in a visit. It turns that into heatmaps and session replays. We use it to find where a page confuses people, not to work out who you are.

That data is processed by Google and Microsoft as our providers. We read it in aggregate to improve the website. We do not use it to identify individual visitors and we do not sell it.

The growth X-ray stores nothing on our servers. Your answers stay in your browser and reach us only if you choose to attach them to a brief and submit it. The site also keeps a small record in your browser session of how you arrived, so a brief you send carries its own source.

If you would rather not be measured, blocking cookies in your browser settings or using a content blocker stops it, and every part of this website continues to work normally.

5. Advertising Account Data

Where a client engages us to manage their advertising, we access and process data from their advertising accounts on their behalf and under their authorization. Client accounts are linked to our own manager account using the standard account-linking process of the platform, and the client retains ownership of the account and its data.

This data includes campaign, keyword, search term, and conversion performance information. We use it solely to manage, optimize, and report on that client's advertising. We do not sell it, we do not share it with third parties, and we do not use one client's account data to benefit another.

Data retrieved for analysis and reporting is exported to files stored on GETCGO workstations and internal storage, retained only as long as needed for the engagement and for ordinary business records. Access to advertising accounts ends when the client withdraws it or the engagement ends.

6. Google API Services

GETCGO uses the Google Ads API to manage and report on client advertising accounts. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The internal application we use for this work is a command-line tool used only by GETCGO staff on company workstations. It has no public interface and no external users, and we do not provide API access or API functionality to any third party. API credentials are stored locally and are never distributed.

7. User Rights & Data Retention

We retain project briefs only as long as reasonably needed to evaluate the inquiry, communicate with you, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with your inquiry by emailing [email protected]. Applicable rights can vary by location.

8. How We Use and Protect Information

We use submitted information to evaluate fit, respond to the inquiry, prepare a potential engagement, prevent abuse, and operate the website. We do not add project-brief contacts to automated marketing sequences without a separate basis to do so. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Contact

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected]. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
